The brief was to renovate an engineered concrete house, built in the late 80’s. the spaces inside matched the client’s needs but were poorly planned so with the constraints of the concrete walls we looked at opening up the plan to provide an overlap of living spaces whilst retaining the 3 bedrooms upstairs, using existing circulation space for an ensuite and pushing the stirs to the outside creating a new transparent link from the ground floor to the first and up to the new roof deck.
